First of all, I would like to pay tribute to the title of this essay, which uses the title of Huang Wenhai (Wen Hai) documentary “The West is Not This Far” (2009). Secondly, the concept and proposition that my countrymen are willing to face in this documentary to face some real predicament in reality do not make sense of introducing the thinking of another topic that is close to and continues to be “Western.” This topic has nothing to do with religion, but it is related to certain beliefs and intentions; it has nothing to do with geographical space and boundaries but with some kind of strong expectation of rescheduling.
