阿西莫夫(1920—1992),美籍作家、生物化学家。他是一位撰写科幻小说和科学普及读物极有成就的多产作家,著书500多册,曾获得代表科幻界最高荣誉的“雨果奖”和“星云终身成就‘大师奖’”。阿西莫夫的小说三部曲：《基地》、《基地与帝国》、《第二基地》是他最有名的科幻小说三部曲。其他长、短篇小说集包括：《我是机器人》、《钢的洞穴》、《地基的边》、《东方的机器人》等。他的《黄昏》被许多人认为是迄今为止最好的科幻短篇小说。
Asimov (1920-1992), American writer, biochemist. He is a prolific writer of science fiction and popular science books. He has written more than 500 books and won the “Hugo Award” and the “Nebula Lifetime Achievement Award”, the highest honor of science fiction. Asimov’s novel trilogy: “base”, “base and empire”, “second base” is his most famous science fiction trilogy. Other long and short stories include: “I am a robot”, “Steel cave”, “Edge of foundation”, “Oriental robot” and so on. His “twilight” is considered by many to be the best science fiction short story to date.
