High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is an emerging analytical technique in recent years. It has the advantages of fast analysis, good separation effect, high sensitivity and small amount of sample. For some of the larger molecular weight or ionic substances and non-volatile or heat-labile substances can be applied, and therefore, much broader than the scope of gas chromatography.
