遗址位于云南省怒江州兰坪县河西乡河西村东北约3公里处的圆宝山二级台地上,经纬度为东经99°22′52.3″、北纬26°52′20.4″,海拔2200米。遗址所处台地两侧各有一条小河水流入前面的通甸河,最后注入澜沧江(图一)。西汉元封二年(公元前109年)置益州郡比苏县,县域属之。唐时属姚州都督府,南诏属宁北节度管辖,大理国时属谋统府管辖,元代为茶罕章宣慰司所管,明代改属丽江府管辖。1958年10月兰坪改属怒江傈僳族自治州至今。
The site is located on the second stage of the round Baoba Mountain, about 3 km northeast of Hexi Township, Heping Township, Lanping County, Yunnan Province. The latitude and longitude are 99 ° 22’52.3 “east longitude and 26 ° 52’20.4” north latitude and 2200 meters above sea level. There are two small rivers flowing into the front of the Tongdian River on both sides of the site where the ruins are located, and finally into the Lancang River (Figure 1). In 1958 October Lanping is a Nujiang Lisu Autonomous County so far.
