以跨国合作专利数据为考察对象,研究揭示了国际合作创新存在的“核心—外围”空间布局,更揭示了其空间上的扩散趋势。进一步在严格区分生产活动外向关联度和创新活动外向关联度基础上,实证研究主要揭示:无论制造还是服务领域,一国同其他国家在生产和创新活动领域建立的外向关联度越紧密,双边展开国际合作创新的可能性也越大;尤其生产活动外向关联度提升,还是能够显著推动发达国家与发展中国家间“南—北”合作模式下的国际合作创新发展,而创新活动外向关联度提升则显著推动发展中国家间“北—北”合作模式下国际合作创新。实证研究同时证实,不同类型外向关联度彼此间存在的互补效应、特别生产与创新活动外向关联度“合力”作用的存在。
