Multimedia refers to a medium that synthesizes, disseminates, and stores the same information by synthesizing two or more types of media. Multimedia contains a lot of content, such as pictures, movie clips, recordings, animations, colorful interfaces and text. Therefore, the use of multimedia to assist history teaching plays an important role in creating a good atmosphere of classroom teaching, mobilizing students’ enthusiasm for learning, strengthening students’ understanding of historical concepts, and constructing a complete knowledge structure and framework. In addition, multimedia teaching can also give full play to teachers’ dominance and learning in classroom teaching.
