云南凤庆县是滇红之乡,所产红茶以金毫润身,汤色红艳、香气浓爽、滋味醇厚被誉为滇红之巅。全县有茶园9300hm2,大都处在海拔2000m左右的高山,茶园的平均海拔高度可谓是云南之最了。当车行驶在凤山、大寺等主产乡镇时,如置身于茶海之中,真有“山迭山来山接天,千亩茶园插云间,举首眺望南山顶,错把茶姑当天仙”之感。
