年刚不惑的民进会员、江苏美术出版社副社长高云在江苏画坛上是个佼佼者。1983年,大学毕业刚一年的他便在“第六届全国美展”上以连环画《罗纶赶考》捧回了江苏唯一的一块金牌。4年后,在第七届全国美展中,他又捧回了1银2铜和1个新人奖。他所绘的连环画、设计的邮票、编辑的书籍在国内外获奖数多达32个,其中相当一部分是一等奖,他被誉为“获奖专业户”。其作品还多次被送往国外展览。1990年,他荣获首届“江苏省文学艺术奖”;1991年,又被省政府授予“中青年有突出贡献专家”称号;他还和张乐平、贺友直等人一起被列入《全国连环画十家》中。在不长的时间里取得如此突出的成绩,不能不使人感到惊叹。和同龄人相比,高云所走过的路并不平坦。出生于知识分子家庭的他,受喜爱书画的父亲影响,
