近现代通俗小说研究的前辈学者很重视目录的编写,相关研究也是在编写目录的基础上展开。然而,随着通俗小说类型研究的深化,以前各种目录的缺陷便暴露出来。由于近现代通俗小说数量非常大,要做全面的补充和校正,非个别研究者所能承担,因此通俗小说目录学的建设逐渐滞后于这一领域的相关研究。以前除图书馆和私人藏书室外,现代通俗小说已难觅踪影,而今网络勃兴,孔夫子旧书网等处时见旧版通俗小说,已亡佚者不时复现,然网上资料稍纵即逝,下载一多,即无头绪,因此及时利用网上资源编写目录,尤为当下之要务。高校通俗小说教学中应及早开设“近现代通俗小说目录学”相关课程,把最新的通俗小说目录信息传授给学生,同时积极着手编写《近现代通俗小说目录汇编》,使通俗小说目录学成果能及时介入当下通俗小说研究,发挥应有的促进作用。
The predecessors and scholars who study the modern popular novels place great importance on the compilation of the catalogs, and the related researches are also based on the preparation of the catalogs. However, with the deepening of the research on the types of popular novels, the defects of various catalogs have been exposed in the past. Meanwhile, the compilation of “Modern Popular Fiction Catalogs” Achievements can promptly intervene in the study of contemporary popular novels, to play its due role.
