建设民族团结模范区是国务院制定的武陵山片区《规划》战略定位和重要任务之一。自武陵山少数民族经济社会发展试验区建设启动以来,湖北省委、省政府高度重视武陵山片区民族团结进步创建工作,采取四大措施积极推进,探索了新思路,创造了新经验。近日,中央领导和国家民委主要负责人先后就湖北采取四大措施全力推进武陵山民族团结进步示范区建设作出重要批示,这是继“616”对口支援工程、少数民族特色村寨保护与发展等工作后,中央领导同志和国家民委对湖北民族工作的又一次充分肯定。
Building a model zone for national unity is one of the strategic positioning and important tasks of “planning” the Wuling Mountain Area formulated by the State Council. Since the establishment of the Wuling Mountain Ethnic Minority Economic and Social Development Pilot Zone, Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Government has attached great importance to the ethnic unity and progress created in the Wuling Mountain Area, took four measures to actively promote, explored new ideas and created new experiences. Recently, the central leadership and the chief officials of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission have successively made important instructions on the four major measures taken by Hubei Province to make every effort to promote the construction of Wuling Mountain Nationalities Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone. This is the second phase of the “616” counterpart support project and the protection of ethnic minority villages After the development and other work, the central leading comrades and the State Ethnic Affairs Commission fully affirmed Hubei’s ethnic work once more.
