In order to study the regulation of the cochlear micromechanisms by the high center, 16 patients (32 ears) with normal subjects were tested for distortion product otoacoustic emissions (DPOAE) with or without visual selection. The results showed that DPOAE amplitude decreased when visual task occurred, and F2 decreased to a significant level at 1 kHz (P <0.05). Discussed the possible mechanism of regulation. That the study of the central nervous system and olfactory olfactory cochlear nervous system on the cochlear function will have a very important physiological and pathological significance.
