一位当代哲人说过:每一代人都必须也只能面对自己的时代。而每一个时代都是独一无二的,每一代人都遵循着一种前定的旨意,每一个人都头顶着一颗星辰去践履赋予他一生以价值和意义的使命。周韶华正是一个敢于直面时代、勇于承担文化使命的时代巨子。他用毕生心血构建的“周家样”山水画最重要的贡献,就在于它们所具有的积极而深刻的精神内涵、宏大而切近实际的文化理想、强烈而鲜明的时代特征。正是由于这一切,他的山水画才为当今的时代确立起了一种新的价值标准。而这个新的价值标准就是我们这个时代的标杆,其影响无疑是深刻而久远的,最终也必定会逸出山水画领域。

It is precisely because of all this that his landscape painting established a new value standard for today’s time. And this new value standard is the benchmark of our times. Its influence is undoubtedly profound and long-lasting, and will eventually escape the field of landscape painting.
