背景介绍滨湖地区紧邻五大淡水湖之一的巢湖,坐拥190多平方公里的丰饶土地,生态条件十分优越,区内碧水萦绕,绿树成林,形成了独具一格的自然地理特征。开发建设滨湖新区,是合肥市委、市政府贯彻安徽省第八次党代会战略部署,推进现代化滨湖大城市建设的重要步骤,是落实“141”城市空间发展战略,实现城市跨越发展与结构重塑的重要举措。滨湖新区的建设始于2006年11月15日,滨湖新区的开发建设,不仅彰显出合肥的城市特色,使合肥成为真正意义上的滨湖城市,更使合肥实现通江达海,从此由环城时代步入滨湖时代。
