辽宁省北票县新生事物研究所报导,测定“5406”母剂活胞子数培养基不必进行高压灭菌。他们做了培养基经高压灭菌的对比试验,实验结果表明:不经高压菌压的培养基平面上长出的杂菌菌落也极少,与经过高压灭菌数量相近,所得活胞子数也相近。 因此,认为一般情况下,培养基可不必经高压灭菌,但必须采用不发霉变质的棉籽饼粉或培养基中不加棉籽饼粉(只是“5406”菌落长得慢一些)。这样,不但节约了人力和灭菌用的煤炭,同时没有高压灭菌设备的社、队也可以用该法鉴定菌肥质量。
