肾血管异常发育,破坏了肾脏排泄系统上段的正常局部解剖关系,产生上尿路的相应平面如肾盏、肾盂、输尿管的尿流困难、尿液潴留及其扩张。如果说畸变的动脉血管在发生肾积水中的作用文献上讨论较早的话,肾静脉异常在该病发生中的病因意义仅有少数报导。个别作者曾描述过纡曲扩张的性腺静脉或输尿管静脉压迫尿路,结果发生肾积水或肾输尿管积水。但经观察,这些静脉本身的改变与肾静脉动力学紊乱有关,恰是其先天性瓣膜功能不全,或者遗传性全身结缔组织无力的后果。不过在这些观察中,未对肾静脉进行研究,肾静脉造影时,未得到肾静脉的图象,而造影片上只能看到其侧枝静脉如输尿
