国家林业局是中国林业主管部门,承担着履行国际公约的重要国际义务。由国家林业局牵头参与履约活动的国际公约有《濒危野生动植物物种国际贸易公约》《国际湿地公约》和《联合国防治荒漠化公约》,由国家林业局参与并发挥林业在其中的重要作用的国际公约有《生物多样性公约》《联合国气候变化框架公约》和《国际植物新品种保护公约》。
The State Forestry Administration is the competent forestry authority in China undertaking the important international obligations of fulfilling the international conventions. The International Conventions on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, the International Convention on Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, and the SFA’s participation in and implementation of the important Conventions include the Convention on Biological Diversity, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the International Convention for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants.
