桃花源是陶渊明创造的艺术境界,是世外桃源也是世人憧憬的理想家园,万千美艳,陶渊明单取桃花作为代名物;禅宗将告别世路的颠簸,回到精神故里,称为回到美丽的桃源;《红楼梦》里林黛玉所葬之花又恰是桃花。这些足见传统文化寄予桃花的深厚内蕴。林黛玉手把花锄葬桃花,含泪吟唱《葬花吟》,是以俗世凡人的身子怀揣着世外仙姝的心界,是以花魂的身份浅唱着对精神桃源的渴盼。一曲《葬花吟》唱出了青年女子伤春惜春之情,也道出了尘世女儿自度度人的方子。
