China’s fire service problems. There is no shortage of large-scale fires, explosions and related hardships in China, which has doubled the number of deaths. The official announcement in China is usually late and only a few words. It is customary in China to cite the surface data without question, so the situation we have is reserved. However, the official news is also credible, truthfully drawing a harsh picture of China’s fire problem. For example, in a 1988 report by the Chinese authorities seeking funding from the United Nations Development Program to improve fire safety in tall buildings, it was mentioned that 2,685 people died in a fire in 1986 in China. Another major practical issue came from the report of the Construction Engineering Bureau of Jiangsu Province, China, which said that 60,000 fires occurred in China in 1993
