陈廷祚,1917年10月出生于江苏盐城上冈镇。1943年毕业于国立上海医学院。曾先后在重庆中央医院、昆明中央防疫处任职。1946年,他考取公费留学生,于次年赴丹麦国家血清研究所专习微生物学、生物制品制造与检定。新中国成立后他应邀回国,就职于大连生物制品研究所,历任检定科长、生产科长、总技师(卫生部任命),并兼任大连医学院副教授等职。1957年,大连所撤消,内迁并入成都新所。1959年,他被错划为右派,直至1979年拨乱反正后始恢复主任技师职
Chen Tingyi, born in October 1917 in Shanggang, Yancheng, Jiangsu. In 1943 graduated from the National Shanghai Medical College. Has worked in Chongqing Central Hospital, Kunming Central Epidemic Prevention office. In 1946, he was admitted to the public foreign students, the following year went to the Danish National Institute of Serodia Microbiology, biological products manufacturing and testing. After the founding of New China, he was invited to return to China and worked for Dalian Institute of Biological Products. He has served as chief examiner, chief of production, chief technician (appointed by the Ministry of Health) and concurrently an associate professor of Dalian Medical College. In 1957, Dalian was withdrawn and moved in to Chengdu's new office. In 1959, he was wrongly designated as the rightist until 1979, when the chaos was reinstated and the chief technician resumes
