江苏省启东市大江中学创建于1950年,1997年3月学校被省教委确认为启东市首批省重点中学。1998年9月学校又被国家教育部、科技部、中宣部、中国科协四部委联合确认为全国青少年科技教育基地(全国学校系统独此一家)。2003年学校又经省教育厅评估,成功转制为三星级中学。
Qidong Dajiang Middle School of Jiangsu Province was founded in 1950. In March 1997, the school was recognized as the first provincial key middle school in Qidong City by the Provincial Education Commission. In September 1998, the school was jointly confirmed by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Central Propaganda Department, and the four ministries and commissions of the China Association for Science and Technology as the national youth science and technology education base (the only one in the national school system). In 2003, the school was evaluated by the Provincial Department of Education and successfully transformed into a three-star middle school.
