1997年3月30日,中国海军舰艇编队在圆满结束了对美国的访问之后,顺利抵达墨西哥西南部著名海港城市阿卡普尔科进行为期两天的友好访问。这是中国海军舰艇编队首次访问拉美国家。上午10时30分,112驱逐舰首先靠岸,受到墨西哥海军第10军分区总监埃尔南德斯中将、阿卡普尔科市长及格罗州州长的代表、中国驻墨西哥大使沈允熬、墨西哥海军官兵及当地华侨的热烈欢迎。我们作为中国军事记者,在短短的两天时间里,从一个侧面对这个拉美大国作了初步了解。太平洋岸边的“明珠”
On March 30, 1997, the Chinese naval fleet successfully arrived in Acapulco, a famous seaport city in southwestern Mexico, for a two-day goodwill visit after its successful conclusion to the United States. This is the first visit by Chinese naval vessel fleet to Latin American countries. At 10.30 a.m., 112 destroyer first landed and was represented by Lieutenant General Hernández, Director of the 10th Corps of Mexico’s Navy; Mayor Acapulco; Governor of the State of Gero; Shen Yunbo, Ambassador of China to Mexico; and Mexican Navy officers and men And a warm welcome from overseas Chinese.
