宁夏自治区是我国传统的农牧业经济区,奶业、清真牛羊肉产业既是宁夏战略主导产业,又是重要的民族经济与农村支柱产业。近年来在宁夏自治区党委、政府的支持下,宁夏自治区奶业、清真牛羊肉产业取得跨越式发展,一些畜产品的增长速度和人均占有量处于全国前列。2013年全区奶牛存栏52万头,成母牛年均单产6.8 t,居全国第4位;鲜奶年产量157万t,人均鲜奶占有量0.25 t,居全国第2位;肉牛
Ningxia Autonomous Region is China’s traditional agricultural and animal husbandry economic zone. Dairy and halal beef and mutton industries are both the strategic leading industries in Ningxia and the important national economy and rural pillar industries. In recent years, with the support of the party committees and governments of Ningxia Autonomous Region, the dairy industry and beef and mutton industry in Ningxia have achieved leapfrog development. The growth rate and per capita share of some livestock products are among the highest in the country. In 2013, the number of cows in the whole region was 520,000. The annual average yield of cows reached 6.8 t, ranking the fourth in the country. The annual output of fresh milk was 1.57 million tons and the per capita milk content was 0.25 t, ranking the second in the country.
