作为一种新型的、环保型的路面材料,橡胶沥青是采用一定细度(20—80目)的橡胶粉在高温状态下(190—200℃)与沥青发生融胀反应,其既有物理反应,又有化学反应。橡胶沥青与一定级配的碎石材料拌和即生成橡胶沥青混凝土(AR-AC),其铺筑的橡胶沥青路面具有优良的路用性能,具有抗老化、抗反射裂缝、低噪音、平整舒适、抗滑等特点。目前,橡胶沥青混凝土已经在美国、南非、日本、德国等国家取得了广泛的应用。我国近几年也开始大量推广使用橡胶沥青混凝土,以促进废旧轮胎的二次利用,减少环境污染,建设节约型的经济。
