党的十七大首次把加强中国软实力的建设和发展作为发展战略写进党的政治报告,并从根本上揭示了中国软实力的实质内涵和发展中国软实力的方向。这是中国共产党对建设中国特色社会主义理论的丰富和发展。加强中国软实力的建设和发展,是落实以人为本的科学发展观的具体体现,是实现构建社会主义和谐社会这一战略任务的重要保障,具有十分重要的现实意义。
For the first time, the 17th CPC National Congress has made strengthening construction and development of China’s soft power into the political reports of the Party as a development strategy and has fundamentally revealed the essence of China’s soft power and the direction of developing China’s soft power. This is the CPC’s enrichment and development of the theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. To strengthen the construction and development of China’s soft power is a concrete manifestation of implementing the people-oriented scientific concept of development and an important guarantee for the realization of the strategic task of building a harmonious socialist society, which is of great realistic significance.
