作为新诗理论家的梁宗岱已逐渐为人所知,实际上,梁宗岱还是较早用白话写新诗的诗人之一。他的新诗创作实践如果放到当时的历史语境中,是应该在中国新诗史上占有一席之地的。梁宗岱的诗好用比喻、通感、诗意繁复朦胧,具有“繁复的象征”的特点,与同时代的作家相比,在美学和诗艺上都达到一个独特的高度。法国文学家罗曼·罗兰曾称赞梁宗岱是“天才的中国青年诗人”。他的诗歌、诗论不断重版,他的一生是臻于完美的学者的一生,一如他自己的美学。
Liang Zongdai, a new poet theorist, has gradually become known. In fact, Liang Zongdai was one of the earliest poets to write new poems in vernacular Chinese. His practice of writing new poems should occupy a place in the history of Chinese new poetry if it is put into the historical context at that time. Liang Zongdai’s poems are characterized by metaphor, synaesthesia and poetic complexity, which are characterized by “complex symbol ”. Compared with contemporary writers, Liang Zongdai’s poems have reached a unique height in both aesthetics and poetic art. The French writer Roman Roland once praised Liang Zongdai as “a genius Chinese young poet.” His poetry, poetry constantly reprinted, his life is the perfect life of a scholar, as his own aesthetics.
