福田保税区,经过一年多的酝酿、奠基后中央正式批准成立,这是落实中央关于进一步改革开放方针的一项具有战略意义的措施。面对当前严峻的国际形势和中央所赋予的重任,无论是理论界还是实际工作者,都要继续发挥80年代初试办经济特区时的务实精神,努力把福田保税区办成具有中国特色的自由贸易区,这不仅具有现实意义,也具有深远的历史意义。
