Coal is China’s major energy source, there are always a large number of waste gas into the environment, fly ash is one of the major pollutants. Its analysis, especially its determination of heavy metal elements, has become very necessary. Mills and Belcher have highlighted the role that ICP-AES can play in this type of analysis, pointing out that the accuracy and precision of large and small components are similar to that of X-ray fluorescence.
