分析了基于部分迭代函数系统(PIFS)的传统分形图像压缩编码中8 种对称旋转变换对编码性能的影响;通过两组实验证明了8 种对称旋转变换并非是PIFS固有的不可缺少的一部分。在相同的搜索空间和相同的编码时间内,可以通过直接在图像内部增加Dom ain block 扩大搜索空间的方法而不采用8 种对称旋转变换获得相同甚至略好的率失真特性。这一结论使作者对分形图像压缩编码有了更深入更全面的理解与认识。
The influence of eight symmetric rotation transformations on the performance of traditional fractal image compression coding based on partial iterative function system (PIFS) is analyzed. It is proved by two experiments that eight kinds of symmetric rotation transformations are not an intrinsic part of PIFS. In the same search space and the same encoding time, we can get the same or even better rate distortion by expanding the search space by adding Dom ain block directly inside the image instead of the 8 symmetric rotation transform. This conclusion enables the author to have a deeper and more comprehensive understanding and understanding of fractal image compression coding.
