康成元,字乾初,著名书法家,1941年7月生,山东省平度市人,第九届全国人大代表,第十届全国政协委员,海军中将军衔,中国书法家协会会员,中国书法家协会创作委员会委员,中国书法家协会艺术发展委员会委员,中国美术家协会会员。2004年9月,中国书协和海军政治部在中国美术馆联合主办了《康成元书法展》,隆重热烈,引起轰动,受到当代书坛的热情关注和诸多专家学者的高度评价,中央电视台、山东电视台、青岛电视台等新闻媒体对其在书法艺术上的成就进行了专题报道。有2件展览作品被中国美术馆收藏。同年,被《书法》杂志评为“十大年度人物”。书法以碑书为基、爨书名世,重视对传统渊源的继承、探索和创新。主张转益多师、融会贯通。作品醇厚朴茂、稚拙大气、个性强烈、风格独特。其画亦能师法造化、博采众长、水墨酣畅、自出机杼。有《康成元书画作品选》、《康成元书法作品选》、《中国书法家精品集·康成元》、《康成元书法集》等多部书画集行世。
