The high-quality and high-yielding new sugarcane variety Chuanx 91-91 was approved by Sichuan Province Sugarcane Variety Approval Committee and named as Sichuan Sugarcane No. 20 at the beginning of July 2000. On January 13 of the same month, it was passed by Sichuan Science Technology Office organized and hosted the identification of the results.
