笔墨是中国画传统演进过程中形成的一整套独特的形式语言体系,这套形式语言体系是中国文化大体系中的一部分,是在世界范围内独一无二的一种中国式的视觉表达方式。形体、色彩、构图是全世界绘画所共同的要素,但是笔墨却是中国人所独有的,全世界其他民族的传统绘画中都没有的要素。作者在文章中探讨了笔墨的形成历史,笔墨的特点及笔墨语言所表达的中国知识分子的主体精神和人格理想。
Pen and ink is a set of unique formal language system formed during the traditional evolution of traditional Chinese painting. This formal language system is a part of Chinese cultural system and a unique Chinese-style visual expression in the world. Body, color and composition are the common elements of painting all over the world. However, ink and brush are elements that are unique to Chinese people and are not found in the traditional paintings of other peoples in the world. In the article, the author explores the formation history of pen and ink, the characteristics of pen and ink, and the subjective spirit and personality ideal of Chinese intellectuals expressed in pen and ink languages.
