中国人民解放军艺术学院美术系于1979年创建。彼时正值改革开放的初期,那是一个思想解放、百废待兴的年代。正是在这样一个激情似火的岁月,解放军艺术学院美术系应运而生,并开始了部队美术教育艰苦创业、蓬勃发展的历程。l980年,我从中央美术学院中国画系研究生班毕业,十分荣幸地分配到新创建的解放军艺术学院美术系任教,也亲身感受到创业的艰难。当时建系不久,还没有专门的教室,学员们只能在简易的木板工棚内上课、住宿,条件十分简陋、艰苦。但是从部队各基层单位和应届高中毕业生招考入学的学员们都
Chinese Academy of Art Art Department was founded in 1979. At the time when reform and opening up was in its earliest stage, it was an era of liberation of ideas and overcoming all obstacles. It is in such a passionate time that the Art Department of the PLA Art Academy came into being and embarked on a journey of arduous pioneering and vigorous development of art education in the armed forces. In 1980, I graduated from the postgraduate course of the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with great pleasure. I was very honored to be assigned to teach in the art department of the newly created Art Academy of the People’s Liberation Army. I also experienced the hardships of starting a business. At that time, it was not long before the establishment of the department that there was no special classroom. Students only had to go to school in simple wooden sheds and shelters.
