RHYTHM AND METER(节奏与步律) 一首英诗由一个诗节(stanza)或多个诗节组成。每个诗节由至少二个诗行按一定的格律构成。每个诗行(verse)又可划分为音步(foot)。按其所含音步的不同数目,一行英诗的长度可以用下列不同术语表示:
