萨本栋留学归国后先执教于清华,后又临危受命执掌厦门大学,期间克服了抗日战争时期的种种困难,扩大了学校的办学规模,也极大提高了教学质量。
After returning from studying abroad, Saabedang first taught in Tsinghua University and was on the verge of assuming the office of Xiamen University. During the Anti-Japanese War, he overcame various difficulties during the war of resistance against Japan, expanded the scale of running a school and greatly improved teaching quality.
