一问题的提出我国长江下游南岸,以太湖为中心的水网地带,地处江苏东南,浙江北部和上海西郊各县之间,是有名的鱼米之乡.但地少人多,在农业生产上,为了提高粮食产量,从五十年代后期起,利用本地区农业气候比较优越的自然条件,试验发展了一年三熟的耕作制,大大提高了单位面积产量.自此以后,国库粮种中,早籼稻便从无到有,一跃而居首位,数量占常年库存的1/3乃至1/2,成为仓储部门的主要工作对象.
