(一)自製儀器的情況和在教學中所起的作用在物理教學中,實驗有著重要的意義;實驗設備和組織的好壞,會直接影響教學質量。據我的了解,目前有很多學校還沒有足夠的實驗儀器。儀器不足,在目前仍然是一個普遍的問題。這個問題,是可以用革命精神和革命辦法來解決的,事實上也正有不少的學校和敎師,用自製敎具和儀器來解決這個問題。根據我們的經驗,自製儀器不僅能替國家節省資金,而且在敎學效果上,有時也比儀器公司的制品來得更好。兩年以來,我校製作了除「原子構造」部分以外差不多全套的中學物理儀器,共有二百餘種,四百多件。這些儀器,按現在物價來算,總共不到人民幣一百萬元;如果到儀器公司購買,就要貴得多了。以新華科學儀器公司的儀器為例,他們的物理儀器共有一百六十八件,按一九五二年八月的價格計算,總價共需人民幣三千五百萬元。自製儀器,使我們的敎學更加開展,一九五二年,我們已有充分條件,進行各種實驗。我不能把我們全部
(A) the situation of self-made equipment and the role played in teaching In physics teaching, the experiment has an important meaning; experimental equipment and organizations will directly affect the quality of teaching. As far as I understand, there are many schools that do not have enough experimental apparatus yet. Insufficient equipment is still a common problem at present. This problem can be solved by adopting a revolutionary spirit and a revolutionary approach. In fact, quite a number of schools and teachers also use their own tools and equipment to solve this problem. According to our experience, home-made instruments not only save money for the country, but they also perform better than instrument companies at times. In the past two years, our school has produced more than two hundred kinds of high school physics instruments in addition to the “atomic structure”. These instruments, according to the current prices, a total of less than one million yuan; if the instrument company to buy, it is much more expensive. Taking the instruments of Xinhua Scientific Instruments Corporation as an example, their physical instruments totaled 168, at a total price of 35 million yuan in August 1952.
