休闲的第三个境界表现为“陶醉与超脱”,或称超越性境界,是审美境界的最高层次.儒家倡导的“乐以忘忧,超越世俗”,道家追求的“逍遥豁达,相忘于江湖”,禅宗训诫的“不离不染,来去自由”,都是追求精神的自由超脱,自觉实现对世俗功利的超越,它们与西方在实现个体主义、人道主义、快乐主义和多元主义之下追求的“超脱”截然不同.儒、道、禅对休闲第三个境界的审美观念,对于建设社会主义文明、创造和谐的生活方式,具有不可估量的价值和意义.
