江泽民同志在十六大报告中。深刻阐述了“三个代表”重要思想,提出了全面建设小康社会的四项奋斗目标。实现这个目标后,全面小康社会应该是经济更加发展、民主更加健全、科教更加进步、文化更加繁荣、社会更加和谐、人民生活更加殷实的社会,即物质文明、政治文明、精神文明全面协调发展的社会。为了实现这个目标,我们在实际工作中,必须坚持“三个代表”重要思想,以经济建设为中心,进一步解放思想,更新观念,深化改革,坚持发展第一要务,大力开发人力资源。围绕全面建设小康社会的各项奋斗目标而作出我们应有的贡献。一、坚持发展第一要务 (一) 坚持第一要务,是实现全面建设小康社
Comrade Jiang Zemin in the report of the 16th CPC National Congress. Profoundly expounded the important thinking of the ’Three Represents,’ and set forth the four goals of struggle for building an overall well-to-do society. After achieving this goal, an overall well-to-do society should be a society in which economic development is more complete, democratization is more complete, science and education are more progressive, culture is more prosperous, society is more harmonious and the people’s livelihood is more solidified. That is, all-round coordinated development of material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization society.
