为配合全国网上广播发展规划的制定,同时,也是为了给开展网上广播以及关注将因特网应用于广播电视的业界人士提供一个相互交流、相互学习的机会,经国家广电总局科技司正式批准,由广播科学研究院主办、广播科学研究院战略规划研究所与互联网研究所共同承办的首届“全国因特网与音视频广播(网上广播)发展研讨会”于2001年3月5日至9日在昆明召开,来自全国各地广电系统的代表和SUN、思科等多家高科技公司的代表共150余人参加了本次研讨会,与会代表就各自领域里工作中的经验、体会和网上广播发展中的新技术、新趋势以及存在的一些问题进行了深入的交流和探讨,会议取得圆满成功。
