在史无前例的无产阶级文化大革命的推动下,我厂广大工人、革命技术人员在厂革命委员会的直接领导下,遵照伟大领袖毛主席关于“革命就是解放生产力,革命就是促进生产力的发展”的教导,在毛主席“独立自主、自力更生”伟大方针指引下,自制出1000吨油压机,为解决大件压延拉伸方面的生产困难创造了条件。在1000吨油压机投入生产之后,又发现送卸料很不方便,有的工件重达120公斤,人工送卸料不仅劳动笨重,而且生产率也低。为了解除工人的笨重体力劳动,在焊接车间党支部的领导下,发扬了工人阶级的聪明才智,创造了真空吸料气动机械手。

After putting into production of a 1,000-ton hydraulic press, it was found that it was very inconvenient to send and unload the materials, and some of the workpieces weighed 120 kg. The manual unloading and unloading of materials was not only labor-intensive but also low in productivity. In order to relieve the heavy manual labor of workers, under the leadership of the party branch of the welding shop, the working class’s intelligence was promoted and a vacuum suction pneumatic manipulator was created.
