About Rainer Maria Rilke (1875-1926) “Die Sonette an Orpheus” (1923), in “The Cause of My Son and Sonnet” A little superficial introduction (see “World Literature” 1989 the first period). There are eight new translations here. We do not intend to make any further discussion of the entire collection of poems, but only give a brief explanation below each poem. Rilke’s poetry is divided into two volumes, 55 in total. The content of poetry can be roughly divided into two categories, one is to praise Orpheus, one is another topic, can be a separate chapter. The main translation here belongs to the second category. I translated these poems, as I have read in August Stahl’s Rilke Notes (1978) and Ernst Leisi’s monograph Ervers’ fourteen lines "(1987). The original author of the quotation cited in the explanation is taken from Volume 12, Book 2, pp. 772-773. Li Kui-hyun translated the entire book of poems into Chinese and was published in Taipei in 1969.
