In the process of interpreting Marx’s classic works, we can easily find that the Marxist text contains rich people’s livelihood ideas. This thought is embodied in Marx’s emphasis on the survival and development of human beings and his lifelong commitment to promoting human liberation so that everyone will be given free and all-round development. With the continuous deepening of the party’s understanding of the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, it is of great theoretical and practical value to further excavate and enhance Marx’s concept of people’s livelihood in order to promote social construction that focuses on improving people’s livelihood.
