作者自序笔者在1982年获得经济学硕士学位以后,有九年的时间在上海社会科学院从事以人力资源管理为重点的社会与经济发展研究。其中有两年在英国、欧洲和加拿大学习进修、社会考察和担任客座教授,从理论和实践两方面多少积累了一些以现代社会人本主义理念为指导的人力资源开发的认识和见解。1991年起进入华东理工大学担任工商经济学院副院长兼经贸英语系主任,主管教学工作约有10年。在教学和管理活动中也参与了学科建设、课程与教材建设以及国内外交流与研究。同时,自20世纪90年代初开始担任八届上海市政协委员、九届上海市政协常委,使我有机会从社会发展层面来关注和思考人才培养的效益优化问题。由于不断以“与时俱进”的精神鞭策自己,在教育理念上有了相当程度的丰富和进化。自2001年起,因工作变动出任华东理工大学经济发展研究所所长之职,但对于从本科生到博士生的教学业务,仍然“情有独钟”,“乐此不疲”。长期以来,由于兼任社会力量办学性质的上海前进进修学院常务副院长之职,对民办教育和终身教育也形成了一些可贵的认识和经验。半年多以前,出自对教育全过程的关注和民办义务教育探索的兴趣,应邀担任承担九年义务教育的上海市卢湾区民办永昌学校校长一职,又使我有可能从一个应用经济学教授的角度 Authors Preface The author, after obtaining a master’s degree in economics in 1982, spent nine years in the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences engaged in human resources management as the focus of social and economic development research. There are two years studying learning, social studies and visiting professors in the UK, Europe and Canada. From both theoretical and practical aspects, I have accumulated some knowledge and insights on human resources development guided by the humanistic concept of modern society. Since 1991, he has been assigned to East China University of Science and Technology as Vice President and Director of Business English Department of Business Administration and is in charge of teaching for about 10 years. In teaching and management activities are also involved in discipline construction, curriculum and teaching materials as well as domestic and foreign exchange and research. At the same time, since the early 90s of the 20th century, he has been the member of the Eighth Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and the Standing Committee of the CPPCC Shanghai Municipal Committee for the ninth term, giving me the opportunity to pay attention to and consider the optimization of the efficiency of personnel training from the perspective of social development. Due to constantly urging ourselves on the spirit of “advancing with the times”, there has been a considerable enrichment and evolution in educational philosophy. Since 2001, he has been appointed as the director of the Institute of Economic Development of East China University of Science and Technology due to job changes. However, he is still “fond of” and “bored of teaching” from undergraduates to doctoral students. For a long time, as a standing vice president of the Shanghai Institute of Advanced Learning, which also serves as a social force, some precious insights and experiences have also formed on private education and lifelong education.
