甜菜豌豆(Pisum Sativum,var.macroc-arpum)在精美的中国餐碟中常出现的食荚豌豆,十九世纪之前还只是在英国种殖,而未生长在东方的土地上。但当一开始种殖后,中国人承认它是精美的食品,并且扩大了烹饪利用。英国的甜荚豌豆立即变成了知名的中国雪豌豆。雪豌豆极易种植,新摘的豆菜特别甜,其鲜售价格达每磅4—5美元。在家庭菜园中,它首先被选用。它生长快。属冷凉天气的蔬菜,花柔和美丽,荚淡绿色,是大众化蔬菜。
Peas, peas (Pisum Sativum, var.macroc-arpum), often found on exquisite Chinese dishes, were only grown in the United Kingdom before the nineteenth century and did not grow on the eastern land. But when it began to colonize, the Chinese recognized it as a delicacy and expanded its use of cooking. British sweet pea immediately became the famous Chinese snow pea. Snow peas are easy to grow and the newly harvested beans and vegetables are particularly sweet with their fresh-selling prices of 4-5 U.S. dollars per pound. In the home garden, it is first chosen. It grows fast. Is a cold weather vegetables, soft and beautiful flowers, pods light green, is a popular vegetable.
