Deng Xiaoping’s main idea of opposing bureaucratism has three aspects: First, opposing bureaucracy is an urgent task of socialist modernization; second, it reveals the root causes of bureaucratism; third, it proposes science to overcome bureaucracy method. Deng Xiaoping’s anti-bureaucratic thinking has its own distinctive features: emancipating the mind is its ideological premise; correctly handling the relationship between modernization and anti-bureaucratism
