"圈舞"是人类最初创造的舞蹈艺术形式之一,中华大地上的"圈舞"舞蹈文化遗存历史悠久,形式丰富,传播地域广泛,堪称活着的舞蹈"化石",它也是民族文化的一种重要信息载体,昭示着人类童年特殊的社会生活内容和人类心理、情感"进化"的复杂记忆。舞蹈作为"非物质"属性传承的艺术门类,使我们试图研究"圈舞"历史萌芽与发展脉络的进程显得异常艰难,而研究"圈舞"文化的产生、传播与发展进而考察"圈舞"功能、形式和审美的历史嬗变也因此显得尤为重要,因为这将为我们在当下时代认识并继承好"圈舞"这笔宝贵的舞蹈文化财富提供更为科学合理的方法。而当我们正确地认识这些"圈舞"舞蹈现象之所以萌芽、产生、发展、传承的因素时,我们就能为这些即将消失的历史久远的舞蹈形式,重新找回属于它们自己的灵魂。
