由国家地震局地震研究所、地质研究所主编的,地震出版社1982年出版的《中国活动构造典型卫星影象集》(以下简称《影象集》),集中和全面地反映了我国各种不同活动构造类型、性质、活动方式及其有关的火山、地震构造等在卫片上的典型影象特征。并提供丰富的实际资料。但是,由于实地调查的局限性,对某些地质构造现象的判读有所出入,如笔者在利用卫片解释活动构造和第四纪地质过程中,感到《影象集》对西藏天扎勒照片120“高原型火山”的影象特征解释有进一步讨论的必要,特提出来讨论。
