Comrade Luo Gan, Secretary-General of the State Council, studied the issue of accelerating the development of the tertiary industry with the General Office of the State Council and comrades of relevant departments on April 22 and May 9 successively. On May 20, chaired a work conference for accelerating the development of the tertiary industry with 20 ministries, commissions and bureaus in charge of comrades. At the meeting, 11 units including the State Science and Technology Commission, the Ministry of Labor, the Materials Department and the Ministry of Construction all agreed that it is very necessary to speed up the development of the tertiary industry and put forward some concrete proposals.
