使用语言进行交际是人类交际活动的一个重要形式。所谓交际,指的是人与人之间的来往接触,互相传递和交换信息的过程。交际是一个十分复杂的过程。近年来对人类交际模式的研究提出交际是交际参与者、背景和场合、目的和结果、方式和渠道、交际常规、以及语篇体载等诸多因素相互作用的过程。在影响交际过程的各种因素中,交际参与者之间的相互作用因素是最重要的,因为交际的过程首先是到至少两人之间的信息交换,交际是各参与者不断地对所传递的信息的意义进行评价与协商的过程。交际的成功与否往往取决于交际参与者在交际过程中对各有关因素的考虑与取舍,以及交际参与者之间相互合作程度。
