澳大利亚和新西兰,是南太平洋上一大一小两个美丽的岛国。澳大利亚国土面积有768万平方公里,人口2200多万;新西兰国土面积27万平方公里,人口420多万。两个岛国地广人稀、气候宜人,森林覆盖率达到80%以上,没有工业污染。“绿色、干净”是澳大利亚和新西兰最引以为傲的名片。即使处于后工业时代,这两个岛国的人民过的似乎仍是一种“风吹草低见牛羊”的田园牧歌式生活。在悉尼时,导游对我们说:
